Please re-stage the five tag fields — movementTags, styleTags, subjectTags, genreTags, and periodTags — based on what you know about this work
- Art/Official
Let me pull up the image analysis and knowledge base to stage these properly.
- Art/Official
All five staged. Here's what I proposed and why — push back on anything that doesn't fit: **movementTags** — `Photo-painting`, `Neo-Conceptualism`, `Post-Photography` The work sits at the intersection of painting and photography as a deliberate conceptual act, with Hamilton and Richter/Polke as the lineage. Post-Photography feels right given the way the photograph is material rather than image. **styleTags** — `Flat colour fields`, `Seamless transfer`, `Geometric abstraction`, `Photographic integration` All drawn directly from the visual vocabulary — flat even acrylic swatches, the sanded-edge transfer technique, the rectilinear colour fields sitting against the photograph. **subjectTags** — `Brandenburg Gate`, `Berlin`, `Urban landscape`, `Historical photograph`, `City gate`, `Architecture` Specific to this work: the Gate itself, the gates-of-perception frame (city gate), and the 1899 source photograph. **genreTags** — `Transfer painting`, `Mixed media`, `Urban landscape` "Transfer painting" is Bolter's own preferred term, so it anchors this. Mixed media covers the acrylic-plus-photograph surface. **periodTags** — `2010s`, `Contemporary` Made in 2017; Contemporary keeps it findable across the broader archive. Anything you'd swap, add, or drop?
